Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Mobile communication systems have been providing various video services such as video teleconference and video streaming distribution. In order to improve radio resource utilization efficiency of video transmission, P-MP transmission techniques have been developed. These techniques send a single video stream to multiple mobile stations through a single channel. The authors proposed MCAP, which enhances transmission rate of P-MP transmission in CDMA mobile communication systems, and this paper discussed power control methods for MCAP. The most appropriate time interval of SIR measurement for the power control of MCAP is presented through performance evaluations.
