Abstract(in English) In this paper, EZ channel, large volume of content distribution service for mobile phone based on W3C SMIL, is introduced. SMIL is a markup language which integrates video, images, audio, and text into a single multimedia presentation, and enables rich and interactive content representation, compared with simple video or existing Web pages. In EZ Channel service, by making the best use of high-speed packet communication based on 1X EV-DO technology and flat rate service, a large volume of content is automatically downloaded to user terminal during midnight. Some useful extensions are included such as copyright protection.
