Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) With digitization of broadcasting services and expansion of broadband infrastructure in recent years, high-quality video broadcasting service is beginning to be provided over communication media. Furthermore, new attractive service with which broadcasting and communication cooperate is desired. We describe technology and system for integrated management and control of various kinds of the content distribution, such as real-time broad-casting, broadcasting based on home servers, video on demand, and file downloading, by using metadata that describes distribution control conditions in addition to content description metadata (conforming to TV-Anytime).
