Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A quazi-zenith satellite system(QZSS), in which multiple inclined geosynchronous orbit satellites are switched for a service active one by one, has a higher elevation angle than a geostationary satellite one. Therefore, an active satellite can be insight even from mountaneous area or inner-city area. Thus higher reception area rate is realizable by the QZSS compared with that of geostationary satellites. For this reason, high accurate positioning, mobile communications, broadcast are considered as services. We studied satellite's orbits, back-up satellites, an onboard antenna, and transmission capacity from a viewpoint of broadcast service.
