Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For realizing broadcast wave relay of DTTB, transmission signal quality degradated at a propagation path must be improved at the relay station. Fading, multipath and co-channel interference caused by digital broadcasting wave modulated with different data and analog broadcasting wave in operation are enumerated as degradation factors. We had proposed co-channel interference cancel algorithm utilizing an MMSE adaptive array and shown the effectiveness by computer simulation and field experiments performed with a prototype equipment. However, conventional algorithm has some problems such as miscapture of the OFDM interference wave synchronized the scatterd pilot reception timing with desired signal. This paper proposes an appropriate weight control algorithm using a channel estimator and the decision value of array output. Simulation results verified the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
