Abstract(in English) In this paper, a cooperative relaying scheme using space-time coding for multihop wireless networks is proposed. In multihop wireless networks, the communication link between the source terminal and the destination terminal is established through other terminals. However the quality of communication is degraded due to the relay transmissions over fading channels. Space-time coding using multiple transmit antennas is effective countermeasure for fading. Assuming each terminal has only one antenna due to cost and size limitations, a virtual antenna array system by multiple relay terminals is investigated to apply a space-time coding technique to multihop wireless networks.
