Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The author has presented in the previous report that hop count independent throughput is achieved by an intermittent periodic transmit of source packets in a wireless multi-hop network. This paper proposes a new routing method which enables the intermittent periodic transmit method even though nodes are randomly placed on a plane. In the routing method, neighboring nodes are linked together so as to make a spiral-shaped route and multiple spiral-shape routes are folded while assigning each one a different channel. The intermittent periodic transmit method with the proposed spiral-shaped routing achieves the throughput gain of 20~60% compared with a conventional continuous transmit method with the minimum path loss routing.
