Abstract(in English) | In this report, the electrical properties of biological tissue-equivalent solid phantoms for 3.0 to 6.0 GHz are described. The electrical properties of such phantoms can be adjusted by changing their composition. Moreover, the measurement of SAR was performed at 3.8 GHz based on the thermographic method by the use of these solid phantoms. Here, in order to investigate the conditions for SAR measurement, numerical calculation of temperature distributions, which were based on the results of FDTD calculation including the heat transfer in the solid phantom, is applied. As a result, these solid phantoms reproduce the electrical properties of biological tissues in the range of 3.0 to 6.0 GHz without any change in their compositions. In other words, by the use of a unique phantom a broadband frequency varying between 3.0 GHz to 6.0 GHz can be covered. Therefore, it is not necessary to change the phantom for each frequency band in the range of 3.0 to 6.0 GHz during the measurements. Moreover, the measurement of SAR distribution by the thermographic method was performed and showed a good agreement with the results of FDTD calculation at 3.8GHz. |
