Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Accurate channel estimation is necessary for coherent detection and adaptive control techniques, e.g., adaptive modulation and demodulation, of multicarrier signals. In this paper, we study one-dimensional channel estimation in frequency- or time-domain and 2-dimensional channel estimation in time-frequency domain. It is shown that the frequency (time)-domain interpolation channel estimation is equivalent to one-dimensional filtering of the delay time-domain impulse response (Doppler frequency-domain spectrum) obtained by one-dimensional DFT. Furthermore, it is shown that two-dimensional interpolation filtering is equivalent to two-dimensional filtering of two-dimensional spectrum in time delay-Doppler frequency domain obtained by two-dimensional DFT.
