Abstract(in English) The system which searches position information , regardless of the inside or outside of a building, is proposed. The system uses an infrared sensor system for catching indoors' position information and a PHS system for catching outdoors' position information. We can make use of it at medical institutions, e.g. a hospital and home for the aged, because such medical institutions prohibit such device which emit strong electric waves as a GPS system and a cellular phone. Therefore, we proposed and built the position information searching system which combined the infrared sensor system and the PHS system.
