A Study on Objective Video Quality Measurement Method Considering Characteristics of Reference Video

Abstract(in English) Video streaming service is one of the most promising applications over IP networks. To realize the comfortable and high quality video streaming service, it is important to monitor the quality of service and contents, as well as to design it properly in advance. To do this, it is indispensable to develop a method for estimating subjective quality accurately and effectively without subjective assessment, which is time-consuming and expensive. In this paper , we proposed Objective Video Quality Measurement Method Considering Characteristics of Reference Video. The target quality of evaluation test is low bitrate coding images watched using PC monitor. The result show estimate accurate of my method is as same as that of subjective evaluation test.
