Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we analyze the performance of binary Bi-Phase Modulation (BPM) Ultra Wide Band (UWB) multiple access system using Pseudo Noise (PN) code based time hopping sequence in indoor wireless channels. Simulation results according to the number of pulse repetitions and the number of active users in realistic indoor multipath channels show that the bit error rate performance of the binary BPM scheme is approximately 1 dB better than that of the binary Pulse Position Modulation (PPM) scheme. However, the performance discrepancy becomes negligible as the number of users increases.
