Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As a beyond 3G mobile network platform, IP^2 has been proposed as an architecture that integrates cellular network and the Internet technologies. Based on existing IP routing protocols, this paper describes two approaches for the construction of routing information in the IP^2 architecture: a centralized approach and a decentralized approach. Both of these approaches are analyzed in terms of convergence time. With a hop count distance-vector based calculation, the centralized approach is expected to result in relatively shorter convergence times in comparison to those for the decentralized approach, which depend on the network topology.
