Accuracy and Computational Complexity of DOA Estimation Algorithms with Beamspace Transformation

Abstract(in English) In this report, we study the characteristics of beam-space algorithms which apply the beam-space trans-formation to DOA (Direction of Arrival) estimation algorithms. Here, we focus on beam-space algorithms which can improve the accuracy and the computational cost, by using the beam-space transformation. We study how the parameter settings of these algorithms affect the estimation accuracy and the computational cost through some simulations, and see what kind of conditions improve the estimation accuracy and reduce the computational cost.
