Abstract(in English) In this research, a dual band patch array antenna for mobile terrestrial station aiming at Engineering Test Satellite-VIII (ETS-VIII) applications is being developed. The antenna was designed and analyzed by the Finite Element Method (FEM). The measurement results of the fabricated antenna (input characteristics and axial ratio) were assessed to confirm the analysis results. The beam switching of patch 1 to 4 for transmission and reception by ON-OFF feeding method was confirmed numerically.
