Abstract(in English) In this paper, a beam tilt antenna for small mobile terminals of wireless LAN system is proposed. The proposed antenna has a small and planar structure based on the Open End Square Antenna (OESA), which is a planar size of the square whose one side is half wavelength. By adding detour elements of 1/4 wavelength and a reflector at an interval of 0.34 wavelengths or more to the OESA, a main beam is tilted by more than 35 degrees toward the horizontal direction. We also examine the possibility that a 6-sector antenna is realizable in a rectangular space of 44 mm × 7.3 mm at 25 GHz band by rotating the proposed antenna by 60 degrees each and arranging in straight line.
