Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As the method which reduces packet loss during handover, smooth handover was proposed in IETF. In this method, previous attached access router (AR) buffers the packets during handover and forwards them to new attached AR after Mobile terminal (MT) attaches to it. However when the previous AR forwards the buffered packets to new AR,suboptimal routing paths and packet miss ordering problem occur. To solve these problems, we propose "Cross over Router buffering handover". In our proposal, packets are buffered at Cross-over-Router (CoR). CoR is the router which is on the routing path from Correspondent Node (CN) to attaching AR. Moreover the routing paths from CN to attaching AR and to adjacent ARs change on the router. Finally,we show the performance through experimental results.
