Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Authors are engaged in research and development of seamless communication technology between high-speed mobile communication system and high-speed wireless access. This paper proposes efficient presence management methods, which set expiration of presence utilizing terminal velocity and also register presence information in cooperation with legacy AAA (Authentications, Authorization and Accounting) mechanisms. In addition, the request conservation method, which temporally holds user's request in network side when communication condition is not suitable for applications used, is proposed. Performance evaluations on the trial system confirm that the system provides sufficient performance for the condition of low speed movement such as walking.
