Abstract(in English) Broadband services such as contents delivery services have been beginning these days according to the popularization of high-speed Internet connection. Since the Internet users have various network environment (e. g. network bandwidth, PC performance), layered multicasting is one of the solutions to provide optimum quality contents for that users. Though video data is little tolerant of packet losses, it is very important to prevent packet losses from arising to keep video quality. In this paper, we propose a new control method, network cooperation multi-rate streaming control method, which achieves faster control speed than commonly used method and show the result of the experiment.
