Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Much attention has been attracted to application-level multicast (ALM), which uses multicast protocols not on a network layer but on an application layer. By the conventional ALM protocols, an end host that newly joins the multicast group is connected to the current multicast tree based on the delay and the distance. Considering how long the ontree hosts will keep joining the group reduces the number of rerouting, and realizes more effective communication. This paper proposes a novel routing algorithm for file transfer on the ALM with adding remaining file size to ALM routing metrics. The proposed method is evaluated by computer simulation.
