Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In IETF, extended RSVP-TE protocol for point-to-multipoint (P2MP) is discussed on. It enables to setup P2MP label switching path (LSP) with QoS guarantee and traffic engineering (TE). The method using Tree explicit route object (TERO), one of methods proposed to IETF, is superior in the scalability. However in a MPLS network which includes legacy P2P routers, P2MP TE LSP must be setup avoiding them. Therefore in this paper, we propose a new technique in order to extend RSVP-TE for P2MP TE LSP keeping backward compatibility.
