Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A flooding algorithm is indispensable and fundamental control mechanism to notify all the nodes of some information, to transfer the data with high reliability, to get the desired information from all the nodes, or to reserve a route by flooding the messages in the network. The flooding algorithm has merits of robustness and optimality. However, the flooding mechanism has a fundamental problem which increases the processing time until finishing the flooding control, and which causes congestion in the network. We have proposed and evaluated efficient flooding algorithm adopting growth process of primitive creatures for simple flooding control mechanism. In this paper, we evaluate the time characteristics of spreading messages to confirm the propagation capability with time and space in the proposed algorithm.
