| 抄録(和) | 既存のインターネット環境において,一つのジョブを複数のタスクに分割して並列に実行するいわゆる分散コンピューテイングのプロセスを処理するためには様々なネットワーク特性を考慮する必要がある.例えば,プロセスを処理するために必要なデータの送受信を行うには,ある一定の帯域を確保したり,遅延時間を考慮しなければプロセスの処理時間が悪化してしまい,次のプロセス割り当てを行えないといった結果になってしまうと考えられる.そこで本稿では,分散コンピューテイングにおいてタスク割り当てが行われる複数の計算機のネットワーク環境が,ジョブ実行に与える影響について調査を行う.そして,インターネット環境において分散コンピューテイングのタスク割り当てを実行する際に考慮しなければならないネットワーク特性を明らかにする.具体的には,広域ネットワーク環境を想定し,遅延時間や帯域が異なる様々なネットワーク環境下において,電磁構造達成解析を行うアプリケーションを実行した場合における処理時間特性を計測し,通信環境が与える影響について調査を行う. |
| 抄録(英) | In the Internet, in order to effectively handle the distributed computing in which a large scale job is divided into many tasks and they are executed among many computers, it is necessary to consider various network characteristics. For example, in the case of the task execution with the large scale data transmission, the critical performance degradation may occur without considering bandwidth reservation and/or network latency. Therefore, in this paper, we investigate the effect of various network characteristics on the performance of distributed computing, and declare the network characteristics which should be considered to achieve the effective task execution. More specifically, we investigate the performance of electromagnetic and structural coupled problem as a distributed computing application in the network environment with various characteristics (i.e., network latency and bandwidth), and declare the effect of network characteristics. |
