Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the current Internet, routers have only one routing table that is generated by the routing protocols, and the routing table contains the minimum cost to each destination being computed based on a static metric. Since data transmission is performed according to the routing table, it is difficult to manage network resource effectively. To overcome this problem, we propose in this paper a Traffic Engineering scheme based on multiple routing tables. For that each node in the network will maintain two or more routing tables. We implemented our proposed scheme over a testbed network. The experiment results shows that the throughput, of the whole network can be improved by using such scheme.
