Abstract(in English) | The growth in the volume of Internet traffic is extremely large. The increase of the network equipment cost becomes a problem with the increase of traffic. We are advancing the study of multi-layer service network (MLS-NW) architecture where the IP Core Network is economically achieved by the fusion of the IP technology and optical technology as one of the reduction plans of the network cost. Efficient operation of the network is achieved by dynamically using an optical path in MLS-NW. In this paper, to reduce the equipment cost at the network level to this network applicable, we propose a new router architecture to which switching information on each transit router is set by the Ingress Edge router. |
