Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The author has proposed multiple star coupler network (MSCN), connecting multiple star couplers with arbitrary topology. MSCN has a, number of superior features, such as optical transparency, high scalability, simple node structure, minimized operational cost, and removal of network planning. Using computer simulations, this paper evaluates the influence of the network topology and the network size on the network throughput, as well as the effect of wavelength reuse. |
