Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A flooding algorithm is indispensable and fundamental control mechanism to notify all the nodes of some information, to transfer the data with high reliability to get some information from all the nodes, or to reserve a route by flooding the messages in the network. A flooding algorithm has merits of robustness and optimality by parallel processing of messages in the network. However, flooding mechanism has a fundamental problem which increases the processing time until finishing the flooding control, and which causes congestion in the network. In this paper, we propose and evaluate more efficient flooding algorithm adopting growth process of primitive creatures like molds or microbes for simple flooding control mechanism.
