Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As to the method for assuring QoS over IP network, there are studies of the QoS assuring method based on bandwidth broker. However, in order to make this method acceptable to commercial network as well as experimental network, there is still necessity to make sure the interoperability between IP networks and the consistency between current IP network functional architecture and new bandwidth control function. That is, there is also necessity to unify the IP network functional architectural model deploying bandwidth control mechanism and to clarify the signaling interface specification. In this paper there are proposals of the functional architectural model, which includes specified points of the interface between current function blocks and a new function block for QoS control, and of the interface specification for this interface.
