Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Queueing and scheduling strategies are mainly used to manage bandwidth allocation in routers. These are, however, require many buffers and complicated procedures, so that the implementation cost tends to become higher. In this paper, we propose a strategy which implements efficient bandwidth management using policing functions. Besides, we report an evaluation results of a router implementing the proposed strategy.
