Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Mobile ad hoc networks are characterized by multihop wireless connectivity, frequently changing network topology and the need for efficient dynamic routing protocols. The performance of the routing protocols in mobile ad hoc networks is greatly influenced by the frequency of network topology changes. In this research, novel mobility metric of routing protocols using mobility information such as a nodal location or velocity is presented. After the classification of various mobility metrics into three categories, the feature of individual mobility metric is investigated through computer simulation. In addition, we compare the performance of the routing protocols using various mobility metrics.
