Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Ad Hoc Network, which makes multi-hop communication possible with each terminal possessing its own routing ability without using infrastructure, attracts a large amount of attention. However, as wireless communication prospers, the lack of frequency band is a problem. Moreover, the great drop of battery duration due to the rise of power consumption in using wireless communication is also a considerable concern. Two possible solutions to the above problems are the effective use of frequency band with the hope of directional antenna, and the reduction of the electric power used for transmission. In this paper, a routing system, which involves mobile terminals and incorporates the characteristics of directional antenna in wireless ad hoc network is proposed.
