Abstract(in English) We previously proposed the Space Division Multiplexed-Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (SDM-COFDM) scheme which has a simple feed-forward inter-channel interference (ICI) canceller multiplying the received symbol by the estimated inverse propagation coefficient matrix. When the proposed SDM-COFDM scheme estimates the inverse propagation coefficient matrix at the beginning of each burst, the estimation error of the inverse propagation coefficient matrix becomes larger and the interference cancellation performance deteriorates as the number of packets per burst increases, or fading becomes faster. In order to solve the problem, this paper proposes an inverse propagation coefficient matrix tracking by the insertion of the STC (space-time coding)-type pilot symbols. The computer simulation and hardware experiment show that the proposed tracking scheme improves the packet error rate (PER) performance in a frequency selective fading environment.
