Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a portable wireless locator and foxhunting system. The "PAC-Hunt" (page-answer-catch-hunt) sequence and system configuration are shown. Requirements for the hand-held direction of arrival (DOA) finder and its block diagram are discussed. The feature of an electronically steerable passive array (ESPAR) antenna is also explained as a key device for the DOA finder.
