Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper experimentally investigates the throughput performance using Adaptive channel Coding rate and Multiplexed Codes (ACMC) with QPSK data modulation according to the received signal-to-interference power ratio (SIR) for Variable Spreading Factor (VSF)-CDMA broadband wireless access for the reverse link in a multipath fading channel. Experimental results elucidated that based on the measured received SIR using dedicated pilot channel over a packet duration (0.5msec), the maximum throughout according to the received SIR was achieved by ACMC with the control time delay of 4 msec. Furthermore, we experimentally elucidated that the above 20 Mbps throughput is achieved using 40-MHz bandwidth at the average received signal energy per symbol-to-noise spectrum density ratio (E_s/N_0) of approximately 9 dB, by employing QPSK data modulation, channel coding rate of 1/2 and 3 code-multiplexing of the spreading factor SF=4 in a four-path Rayleigh fading channel.
