Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) CDN is a content transport network that is built on top of IP-based packet transport network. Network should be aware about content profiles for their QoS and routing control, user's preference such as high-quality delivery, emergency delivery or expedited delivery, and content usage conditions for AAA (Authentication, Authorization & Accounting). All of these could be described by metadata thus allows context aware services. Even for broadcast program delivery over ubiquitous environment, content adaptation to terminal profiles and/or presence could be achieved by describing these terminal attributes by metadata.
