Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes Multicast Transport Layer Security (MTLS), which is a new data encryption protocol in the transport layer for IP multicast. MTLS realizes encryption of data that are delivered by UDP; and it is able to convey data emcryption keys for multicast communication and also achieve message authentication. We show the feasibility by implementing a test-bed system, and explain the advantages based on the performance evaluation and its considerations.
