Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An Application-Level Multicast (ALM) is often used for realizing group communications such as multi-party video chat on the Internet. In multi-party video chat using an ALM, every host consumes a lot of band width so as to receive many video streams. Therefore, each host must take not only delay but also bandwidth into consideration. And it is also better to control the rate of each video streams reflecting each host's requests to realize presence in group communication. This paper presents a routing control algorithm that cooperates with host's request message on an ALM, rate control algorithm for several video streams, and tree changing algorithm. By using this approach, each host can make multi-party tree considering delay, bandwidth, and requests. And each link which consists the tree can control the rate in stablity based on bandwidth and requests.
