Geographical Forwarding with Adaptive Power Control in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks

Abstract(in English) Recently, cellular phones or PDAs are widely diffused, and studies of mobile ad hoc networks are hot topics in mobile networks. In mobile ad hoc networks, some routing protocols using geographical information are watched with keen interest and arc proposed. These routing protocols achieve scalability. In multi-hop wireless communication, it is important to adjust transmission power to reduce interference and power consumption. Transmission power control dose not only has to reduce power consumption, but network connectivity has to be considered. Therefore in this paper, we propose an adaptive transmission power control technique that does not degrade network connectivity.
