Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Peer-to-peer (P2P) technologies, which enable information to be exchanged directly between terminals, are attracting a lot of attention as computer performance improves. In this paper, we describe how to form a P2P community in which information is acquired only from on line users. We constructed a community over a P2P platform called SIONet using semi-active information transmission technology, which we propose, to reduce the hurdle of transmission by users. Experimental results show its effectiveness. We also propose traffic control methods based on the packet queuing techniques of SIONet.
