| 抄録(和) | 本研究では,HORNET(Hybrid Optoelectronic Ring NETwork)における平均パケット遅延特性及びスループット特性を向上するため,パケット送信時に前もって予約サブキャリア信号を送信することによりチャネル予約を行うチャネルアクセス制御方式を提案する.提案方式は,しきい値以下のパケット長を持つパケットを短パケット,しきい値より長いパケット長を持つパケットを長パケットとし,長パケットの送信時にチャネル予約を行う.チャネル予約を行って長パケットの送信を行うことにより,同一長パケットの再送回数を減らしHoLブロッキングの起こる回数を減少することが可能となる.計算機シミュレーションによる特性評価を行なった結果,従来方式と比較して平均パケット遅延特性及びスループット特性を改善でき,提案方式の有効性が示される. |
| 抄録(英) | We propose a new MAC scheme of variable length packet in Hybrid Optoelectronic Ring NET-work(HORNET), in order to improve the mean packet delay performance and throughput performance. In the proposed scheme, a packet with the length below a threshold is called short packet and a packet with the length longer than a threshold is called long packet, and when a node transmits a long packet the node transmits a subcarrier signal for reservation beforehand and reserves the transmission of a long packet. The proposed scheme can decrease the number of times which a long packet is retransmitted and thus can decrease the number of times of HoL blocking. We compare the performance of the proposed scheme with that of the conventional one with respect to the mean packet delay and throughput by computer simulations. It is shown that the proposed scheme can improve the mean packet delay performance and throughput performance. |
