| Abstract(in English) | Recent technical trends on Peer-to-Peer (P2P) communications are presented. The P2P technology is regarded as one of the most promising bases for the next generation Internet, so various kinds of research and development activities are progressing. This paper also presents an advanced network platform for various P2P services, which is called SIONet (Semantic Information Oriented Network). Its "semantic information or meta data routing" mechanism allows easy construction of a wide variety of P2P systems, and is expected to be extended for constructing future ubiquitous services. |
