Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, frequency scheduling of MC-CDM system for packet communications is proposed. In the proposed system, a terminal estimates signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) at the output of multicarrier combiner. Based on the SINR informed from each terminal, base station assign a packet to a set of subcarriers, which has good channel condition. Packet transmission under good channel condition using frequency scheduling reduces required transmission power and increases the capacity of high data rate downlink transmission. From numerical results, it is found that the proposed system significantly decreases the required E_b/N_O to achieve packet error rate (PER) of 10^-2.
