Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The use of PAN (personal area networks) requires the user to have a number of devices constantly ON. Vital information is lost if the appropriate device is not online even if other device(s) is (are) connected to the network. The purpose of the proposed method is to enable the reception of a specified data type at the appropriate terminal capable of handling that type of data by means of a Virtual Server that will route an appropriate message to the already enabled terminal(s). By asking the available terminals to habilitate the requested terminal, even if the terminal is not turned on, and/or re-directing data, the requester will be able to communicate with the other end user with the media format specified.
