Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Multihop wireless communication systems with mesh network topology recently have attracted much attention as a promising approach to provide large transmission bit rate and high operation reliability. Wireless communication systems with mesh network topology can maintain communications by using diversity routes when the radio propagation circumstances change due to rain attenuation, for example. Furthermore, adaptive route control, which is quite effective for efficient network resource utilization against traffic variations, is available in such a system. An FWA system with mesh network topology, which has been proposed by the authors, strengthens flexibility of the system's wireless network to the radio propagation and traffic changes by managing the number of radio channels per radio link. In each radio link, the scheme of variable TDD boundary is adopted in this system to deal with bursty and asymmetric data traffic. This paper proposes three kinds of autonomous and decentralized frequency assignment methods for radio channels in every link for the proposed FWA system. Comparison and consideration on performance of the three proposed frequency assignment methods are also presented. |
