| 抄録(和) | 移動通信において,安定的に高品質なサービスを提供するためには,トラヒックに見合った無線リソースの確保とその有効利用が重要である.PDC移動パケット通信(PDC-P)システムは,間欠的なデータ通信に適した機能を提供しているが,モバイルコンピューティングの普及につれメールやブラウジングなどのトラヒックが急激に増加しているため,トラヒック増加に対応した通信品質確保が必要となっている.本稿では,PDC-Pシステムのパケット加入者処理装置(PPM)において,パケット通信用チャネル(UPCH)の増設と移動機への割当を効率的に行い,無線リソースの有効利用を図る方法について述べる. |
| 抄録(英) | To provide stable and high-quality mobile communications services, it is important to ensure availability of sufficient radio resources to satisfy the demand and efficient use of these resources. As mobile computing grows in popularity, the traffic of sending email and browsing web sites is increasing rapidly in the Personal Digital Cellular Mobile Packet Communications System (PDC-P), which is adapted to handling intermittent data traffic. It is important to continue to ensure quality of service in the face of the increasing traffic. This paper discusses how we have achieved an efficient use of radio resources in increasing user packet channels (UPCHs) and allocating UPCHs to mobile stations (MS) in the packet processing module (PPM) for the PDC-P. |
