Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The reliability and the accuracy of the diagnosis for the idiopathic interstitial pneumonias (IIPs) increase greatly because of the advancement of high-resolution computed tomography (HRCT). However, the diagnosis of the IIPs is a difficult problem for the radiologists. So, we tried the computerized extraction and analysis method for the image feature of the HRCT for three high incident groups of IIPs ; idiopathic interstitial pneumonia/usual interstitial pneumonia (IPF/UIP), nonspecific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP), and cryptogenic organizing pneumonia/bronchiolitis obliterans organizing pneumonia (COP/BOOP).
