Abstract(in English) This paper describes a review of our automatic lung cancer detection method which utilizes discriminant functions derived from feature analysis. Generally the number of the samples of the cancer shadows is quite few. It results in the increases of the false negatives and false positives. In this review, a mechanism of modification of the measurement matrix (co-variance matrix) is newly introduced.
