Abstract(in English) | High resolution CT images allow physicians to observe the detailed information of pulmonary nodule such as internal structure and surrounding structure. In order to quantify the nodule characteristics, computerized approaches become important. Accurately quantifying pulmonary structure is a key issue in three-dimensional computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) schemes. In this research, pulmonary nodules on Multi-slice CT images are classified into five patterns by CT density distribution. For each pattern, three-dimensional features of nodule morphology are investigated to characterize benign and malignant cases numerically. |
