Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we compare performances of three typical block-iterative methods(OSEM, RAMLA, and DRAMA) by detailed simulation studies. By comparing the spatial resolution, noise properties, the value of log likelihood cost function, and the visual quality of reconstructed images, we evaluate these methods. We clarify the best way to decide the number of subsets. Furthermore, we clarify the difference between the 2D-PET reconstruction and the 3D-PET reconstruction.
