| Abstract(in English) | Recently, the development of multi-slice CT scanner allows physicians to precisely measure whole lung area in short period time This paper presents an algorithm to analyze an emphysema on multi-slice GT images. In this algorithm, firstly, lung areas are extracted from 3-D CT images. Secondly, the lung arrears are separated into lung lobes by introducing the anatomical information, such as vessel structures. Finally, the volume of the emphysema regions that occupies each lung lobe is measured. We demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm from the experimental results using clinical data set. |
